My designs emerge experimentally, by feeling, in seemingly alchemistic and surgically precise development processes. Traditional thinking is far from my mind. There are always many truths. I think radically to redefine purpose. Inspired to see if something can work in a completely different context. Or in a surprisingly new composition.
Sometimes I search and experiment for months. Until I manage, to realize the perfect prototype. Or understand what a discovered object wants from me. My unique pieces of utility art take time to emerge. Patience is pre-requisite for anyone wanting to live with a Heilig original.
